We are your hiking specialist in the Rauriser Valley. Our hotel is located in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park and surrounded by breathtaking landscape and protected nature. Stepping out of the hotel means stepping into this impressive scenery - and we love it.
Our love for the mountains and for outdoor activities gave birth to the idea to share this passion with you through organized hikes. Summer and winter,
5 x a week, you can join us on guided hikes (hiking poles, gaiters, rucksacks are available for you to rent).
Summer is the main hiking season in our valley. Follow us and discover the 30 km long Rauriser Valley. Along the extensive and picturesque net of hiking trails we dedicate our excursions to different themes.
Our summer highlights are “Hiking along the water”, “Alm safari in the Kruml Valley”, “Herbal discoveries” or in fall we take you on a “Mushroom hunt”. Alpine guesthouses and mountain chalets invite us to stop for a break and to enjoy authentic and locally produced mountain delights (mountain cheeses, sausages, etc).
Just a step away from the ski slopes awaits you quietness and an untouched mountain landscape dressed in the shimmering snowy atmosphere of the wintery Rauriser Valley. Discover with us the joy and diversity of hiking in the snow. Watch out, it is addictive!
From Monday to Friday we offer guided tours and adapt our program depending on the snow level and weather conditions. Snowshoes and other equipment can be rented at the hotel.
