Powdery snow and lot’s of nature! When winter comes, not only our children are happy, but Rauris winter wonderland puts a smile on everyone's face.
Our valley, located in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park in the Salzburger Land, enchants you with its snowy landscape. Many skiers slide down the valley floor in the family friendly ski area of the Rauriser Hochalmbahn.

We are winter fans and we would like to share with you our passion for this season. Just before Christmas we welcome the first guests to spend the holiday season and New Year with us. We always look forward to spending this special time together with our guests.
In January, the valley belongs to those looking for calm with skiing, hiking in the relaxing and quiet atmosphere of the valley. In February school vacation brings many guests to our valley. What can be better than spending winter vacation together with your family in the mountains?
In March the days get longer and warmer again and we invite you to our ski weeks and on our guided winter hikes you can enjoy the first warming rays of sun. Around Easter we end our winter season and slowly spring is coming back in the Rauriser Valley.
